DUSA removes AI content from socials and says they won’t post AI created content again

DUSA have released a statement about the usage of AI by the DUSA Executive after an opinion piece from The Jute Journal.

A statement sent to The Jute Journal from the DUSA exec said:

“We acknowledge the concerns raised about DUSA’s use of AI, and we take them seriously.

“AI-assisted design features were used in the creation of a previous post. This was inconsistent with the principles we advocate, and we apologise.

“Going forward, the DUSA Executive will not knowingly use generative AI features to create content, and we will check exactly how graphics have been produced before publishing them.

“We thank The Jute Journal for raising this issue and holding us accountable. We will review our content production processes to ensure that our future work reflects this commitment.”
